Afghanistan, 22.10.2011, Rahmat Bay. Anchdem in einer Furt ein Dingo fast im Fluss versunken ist, werden die Soldaten vom ECHO-Zug gerettet und das Fahrzeug geborgen. Die in Kundus stationierte 3. Task Force (ISAF) der Bundeswehr beginnt im Oktober 2011 die mehrtaegige Operation Orpheus. Durch Patrouillen in und um die Kleinstadt Nawabad (Dirstrikt Chahar Dareh) westlich von Kundus, Nordafghanistan, versuchen die rund 100 Infanteristen Rueckzugsorte Aufstaendischer unmoeglich zu machen. Unterstuetzt werden sie dabei durch einen Zug afghanischer Soldaten. An armored Dingo of the ECHO platoon sunk and stuck after the driver accidentially lost the way through a ford in the Konduz river near Rahmat Bay. After comrades supports the passengers to get out of the truck before they rescue it. In October 2011 Kunduz based 3.Task Force started a several days operation in and around Nawabad (District Chahar Dareh), west of Kunduz, northern Afghanistan. During the Operation Orpheus about 100 german infantry soldiers went out for patrols through the town and surrounding areas, which were expected as a retreat zone of insurgents.
